Troi's insisting he has nothing to do with any of this - which I don't actually believe, but I want you to understand this, Captain.

Leaving means that I'm letting my unborn child die. And I will not do that without one hell of a fight....well, actually, I won't do that under any circumstance that involves being aware of it. But I'm willing to talk to whomever to make them understand the situation, and be reasonable about this for as long as I can. So, who do I need to speak to?

I can't speak for the rest of you, but I am not leaving without a fight. With that in mind, I've been given a project by Captain Kirk and I need your help.

For those of you who wish to stay, I need you to tell me why. Not only that but what has being brought here meant to you? What would you want to accomplish with your life from this point on? And, additionally, where would you want to go to do these things? Be as passionate and as convincing as possible. The more we can do to explain our reasoning for wishing to stay and to being valuable members of society at this time, the better our chances.

I'd like to take a moment to publicly apologize for any inconvenience or discomfort that anyone may have recently felt. It was not my intention to harm anyone. But it did provide good results. Stay tuned.

Travelers - Commander Troi has been conducting experiments on us through experiments on the nebula that brought us here. It turns out we are still connected to it and every time he experiments with the nebula, it has been adversely affecting us.

The bursts of anger? The headaches? The nightmares? All a result of his experimentation. I have the research he's gathered and the parameters of his experiment. Starfleet command authorized the experiments, even after they realized what was happening to us. I've sent copies of his experiment and conclusions to everyone's PADD, so that they cannot hide the truth any longer.

I refuse to be a guinea pig. I demand complete transparency. Do with me what you must, Starfleet, but I only hope that the Enterprise crew that has been so accommodating of us since the first of us to arrive will stand with us against this injustice, that they were not involved in any of the decisions made here.

There's a very good chance I'm about to be sent to the brig for an undetermined amount of time. But I needed you two to know what's going on, why we've all been plagued with these headaches, bursts of anger, and nightmares.

I've written down as much as I could about Troi's research because I don't trust the copies I've sent to everyone's PADDs not to get destroyed. Hide them. Make sure Starfleet doesn't get their hands on them. Make your own copies. Just make sure this doesn't get swept under the rug.

I'm sorry I didn't tell you what I was doing beforehand. I didn't think I would find this while gathering my intel. But I needed to get it out before Troi realized someone had found him out.

Be angry with me, but protect yourselves. I will not go quietly.

I've done a lot of difficult things in my life, but I have to tell you, nothing I've done before has kicked my butt like pregnancy is.

I don't know if it's just the headaches that have made it so much worse, but even after mine went away I've just been wiped out. I haven't done much of anything but sleep since Tuesday and I'm still exhausted. Even my appetite is gone and I was pretty much eating everything in sight before this week.

I hope the rest of you are doing better.

....so, what do you do when you can't discern if it's morning sickness or a migraine that's making you sick?

This ship has always been weird, but this is on another level.

I've been having the worst nightmares for the past two nights.

I'm forever thankful that on the worst day of the year, at least for me, that I have someone in my life who just knows that I need nothing more than for him to sit beside me and just be here. I wish everyone could have that.

That depressing note aside, I've been on this ship for a year. Hard to believe.

Good morning. My name is Commander Troi and I've arrived on the Enterprise after a brief mission aboard the USS Temperance. I'm a senior research scientist and astrophysicist in the sciences division of Starfleet Command. I'm looking forward to my time aboard and getting to know everyone.

I'd like to meet with each of you one on one over the next few weeks and months. For some of you, this might be a one and done, and for others this might be multiple sessions. I'm no counselor so don't think this is going to be any kind of counseling session; these are informational sessions where I will be able to ascertain more information regarding what brought each of you here.

To begin, I'd like you each to tell me what you were doing - exactly - what you were doing in the moments before you were pulled here. Never mind how mundane they might be. From there I will begin scheduling appointments.

OOC Information: Declan is a Betazoid, which means that he's a telepath. He will not be able to read your character's mind via the network, so don't worry about any replies you make that way. If you choose to do a log with him, we can discuss the nuances of his telepathy and see how it plays out. Basically, he will probably be reading your mind if you're face-to-face, but you don't have anything to worry about when talking to him via the network.

Am I to understand many of you celebrate the new year by getting completely plastered?

I knew that I would miss Risa when we left, but being sick over it is a little surprising.

.....that's a joke, just in case anyone interprets that wrong. I am a little sick, but nothing that won't pass in a day or so.

That said, Jadzia suggested that we have a party for Christmas and since I'm not swamped with security duties, I figured I'd volunteer to try and organize something for all of us since I know Peggy is a little busy right now with her duties. So, Enterprise, what should we do for the holiday? All suggestions welcome, provided they don't involve death, destruction, and excessively graphic violence.

And, yes, this includes Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, too. Though I'm pretty sure Hannukkah has already passed or is really close to ending, but no reason we can't include it.

The last time I was this tan, I had spent three weeks on a private beach in Fiji with Castle on a trip that was originally meant to be our honeymoon.

This whole thing has been amazing, and I'm going to be very sad to leave in a few days, but I also realized this morning that it's December and almost uncomfortably close to Christmas.

I can't begin to imagine how Christmas works on a spaceship. Do you replicate trees or rely on holograms or what?

A girl could get used to this: sleeping in late, sipping coffee and eating breakfast overlooking the water and then going for a run along the coastline.

I haven't gone out to any of the beaches or the restaurants yet, but I'm sure they won't disappoint either.

I've got an announcement for crew and travelers alike. Starfleet has approved a shore leave request so the Enterprise is making its way to a planet called Risa. Check it out on your PADD. Its nickname is the pleasure planet so everyone will have something to do. ETA is about a week and a half. Any questions? Ask away.

Weird things about living in the future, Anniversary Edition:

In my timeline, today is our second wedding anniversary. In Castle's, we've been married less than a year. Regardless, 250 years ago, we made it official and I've yet to regret that decision. My parents always told me to marry your best friend, and there's no one in the universe - past, present or future, who gets me, loves me and accepts me for who I am than Rick Castle.

All in all, I'm pretty happy that I suspected you of murder all those years ago, Castle. And that you kept showing up, no matter what.

Birthdays. Everyone's got one. Leave your birthday here so I can keep a running tab. And yes, I know I can look at my PADD and everything, but this will be faster.

ALSO I know that some of you might not have birthdays that follow the normal calendar? Or, you know, the calendar we all go by? The Federation one? I don't know. It's mostly the same as the one I know only with just numbers and such instead of months but ANYway.

Basically, if you don't know how to match up your birthday (or don't know your birthday?) with the calendar we all use, maybe now's the time to pic a birthday??

There I was, having some quiet time on the holodeck. It was Clarks Hill Lake, one of my favorite fishing spots in Georgia. It was just me, the dock, my fishing hat, and my fishing pole, enjoying an evening of holo-fish tugging on my holo fishing pole.

Then two of you wahoos turned my dock into a basic training simulator on MY hour.

I'd just caught a big fish. We were having a great battle together, attempting reeling him in. Now I'll never know if I caught him. Or what kind of fish he was.

There are two many people on this ship and not enough holodeck.

Also, hi new people. Don't skip your physicals.

I need to drink so much that I forget what my name is and how I got here. Any takers?
