It’s always rough seeing such a large number of departures. My sympathies to those who have lost friends and other loved ones among them. If anyone wants to join me in a toast to their memory in the lounge, I won’t say no to the company.

With the recent discussions about languages, I had a thought. How would you both feel about some kind of formal language club of sorts on the ship? I feel that there are a number of travelers who would be interested.

After seeing Leia's questions on who speaks what language and the general theme of speaking more language how would anyone feel about a weekly language meet up? Maybe over dinner with themes of the language?

I don't know if anyone would be interested in that, but I think it could be fun. Or if someone has already suggested it and I missed it, point me to it.

I've been on this ship for almost 5 months.

That feels weird to think about, but I guess it's kind of awesome, too. Life is totally different here, but mostly it's pretty great.

It's hard to believe it's already been nearly two weeks. I think I'm going to check out the Waterfall on Monday though, I haven't had the chance to get to it yet.

I'm really enjoying this opportunity to explore the planet. There's so many interesting things to learn that it's hard to know where to start.

In other news I've been accepted to train in Communications on board the ship which shall be fascinating. I'm looking forward to starting.

It seems introductions are required in these circumstances I am Commander T'Pol and I was science officer on the starship Enterprise though obviously an alternative version.

Obviously I cannot claim this is not possible as it is in fact happening. So what is the next step to continuing to serve Starfleet here?

I guess this is where I introduce myself, although I was just told people know all about me in the future, I guess well now. Anyways, I'm Ensign Hoshi Sato, or I was an ensign, I was working as a Communications/Linguists Officer. It's kind of cool to see how different the universal translator is now.
