Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

I've been on this ship for almost 5 months.

That feels weird to think about, but I guess it's kind of awesome, too. Life is totally different here, but mostly it's pretty great.

Saturday is 5 months exactly. We should celebrate, right?

I have to tell you, as interesting as it is working in Medical, the hardest part is not pulling my wand to fix it with a spell and instead using all these contraptions around the Bay for healing.

I suppose it's time I look into finding something to do here. I can't sit around doing nothing every day

I'm feeling cautiously optimistic since James didn't disappear and Lily showed up, and it seems there's a lot more people who know the world I'm from on board now. Do any of you know me? I'm sorry if I'm meant to know who you are but don't.

And if I'm counting right, it's five months since I arrived here? Has it really been that long?

Anyways, I'm Lily, Lily Potter. I've been told I'm not the only one from home here.

Does anyone who's actually from this place and time know anything about the laws regarding magic on earth these days? Because I've appreciated not having to hide it here but I don't want to end up being burned at the stake when we land.

And are the chances of seeing a quodpot game pretty slim?

It's going to be mental, being on earth in the future, isn't it? Too bad we can't go to England.

Have any of you tried apparating since you've been here? I haven't. I mean, even the smallest error in calculating it could mean getting stuck inside of a bulkhead or, worse, you know, out in space and then you're dead.

If you haven't met me yet, I'm Lily Potter. I'll be working in the medical area soon, after I've been trained up a bit. I use magic to heal, so don't be alarmed if you're injured and you see me holding a wand over your head.

Next time we land and you need help with muggle stuff, you can ask me. I grew up one, after all.

For now I'm going to drink a beer in the bathtub. I'm bummed about leaving.

It's taken a couple of days, but I think I've finally found a space on this base where I can go flying.

Now it the replicator would just cooperate and make a proper broom. I mean, I have my own, but it would be way more fun if I could bring someone with me.
