Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

So a lot of people are talking about staying if they can but what about if we want to leave. I mean, there's a lot of questions I have about that too. Like will we remember being here? Or will we go back to right where we came from? Or can we pick when we go to? Or what about if I'm from one time and Ginny's from a different one, are we both going to remember and then how does that work?

I feel like I'm never going to be able to catch up on work, even though I know logically I should, eventually. Maybe next time instead of three weeks, I'll just take one off!

Observed an interesting anomaly this morning, but after further readings and a bit of backtracking I discovered it was simply an erroneous reading.

So the next time you run music through your quarters, make sure you didn't accidentally tap into the wrong systems or someone, probably me, is going to be sitting there trying to figure out why a quasar is pulsing to the beat of a 200 year old song about a snowman.

I knew that I would miss Risa when we left, but being sick over it is a little surprising.

.....that's a joke, just in case anyone interprets that wrong. I am a little sick, but nothing that won't pass in a day or so.

That said, Jadzia suggested that we have a party for Christmas and since I'm not swamped with security duties, I figured I'd volunteer to try and organize something for all of us since I know Peggy is a little busy right now with her duties. So, Enterprise, what should we do for the holiday? All suggestions welcome, provided they don't involve death, destruction, and excessively graphic violence.

And, yes, this includes Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, too. Though I'm pretty sure Hannukkah has already passed or is really close to ending, but no reason we can't include it.

I can't help but think how much my mate Neville would love these subterranean gardens. I mean, I thought they were really cool and I never really even like herbology that much.

I got my proper wand back! It came through the nebula! And Crookshanks! I haven't seen him in so long! I thought he was lost to the castle!

Who wants to help me destroy Bellatrix's wand? I never thought to ask for a new one, I thought it'd be too much of a bother.

Now Lucifer is gone? This is unbelievable. I... can't even imagine what this ship will be like without him.

I believe he was happy here. It doesn't seem right to send someone home who has decided to make a life here.

It's been said a number of times already, but I think losing our new friends is the hardest part of being here. I'm sorry to everyone who lost someone they cared for.

Morale Team

Right, so I think we have a good list of ideas and I'd like to see us start to implement something soon. With such a large number of travelers leaving and all the uncertainty of who could be next, I think we could all use a little morale boosting, yeah?

Rick, I really like your laser tag idea. What do we need to do to make that happen? Shall we do a Saturday in place of the regular lounge event or schedule for another time. I also think running with the movie night that was suggested is a good idea. Maybe work on setting up the carnival, too? Laser tag and the carnival would be well-suited for the holodeck, yeah?

I kept putting it off and putting it off, but I finally decided that there wasn't much of a point. We aren't going to have professional quidditch here, so I might as well do what I was going to do before that became a possibility at home.

This isn't exactly Healing as we know it in the wizarding world, but maybe I'll catch on quick to how they do things in the Med Bay.
