So um.. dudes/dudettes in Hamartia, you might want to avoid the roof for a couple of days. I may or may not have accidently broken the railing just a little bit, last night. Sorry, I’ll have it fixed in a few, I promise! In the meantime, look at the stars from your bedroom windows and find somewhere else for your midnight training sessions (you know who you are! also I hear the dojo’s really awesome). And if you do decide that you can’t keep away, watch out for sharp pointy things and don’t fall off the roof, okay? (Please!)

PS. If anyone finds my skateboard around the building, I would like it back! Just cause it’s fallen off the roof and may be broken, doesn’t mean I don’t want the parts!

[For thirty-six hours, Cyril doesn't move from the chaise longue he's passed out on after returning from the masquerade. When he finally comes to, he doesn't have enough words to describe just how disgusting this all is. The pieces of his costume - frilly lacy shirt, not-quite trousers, enough red cloth to wrap around the whole building - are stuffed into a huge trash bag and disposed of. The gloves he keeps.

He stays in. Doesn't return calls, doesn't go to work. At four in the afternoon, the door to his apartment is flung open and his ringing phone comes sailing out of the door. It hits the opposite wall, flies apart, and then the door is slammed shut again.]

So, I'm downtown, it's my night off, and I just had the worst date notdate date sort-of-date of my life.

Somebody wants to come down and go to Gameworks with me, I know you do. Or get pizza. Or coffee. Or anything. We can make it a group thing, if more people want to come. We could see a movie. I don't care I just don't want to take the bus home alone with people I don't know.
