[ Foregoing an early trip to the museum's exhibit, Sasha makes her way to the (temporary) Defense Force Headquarters to submit a report on the altercation between Cain and Rion in the Bath House two days back. It is one that was put together, thanks to Rion's and Touma's accounts. It is protocol that she decides to follow, even if the move to the new dome might call for something different. If anything, perhaps she might learn any way to help...

While there were amenities in the old Headquarters that Sasha got accustomed to, the place they currently occupy in the Education Center serves its purpose. File in hand, she steps in, looking around first to see if anyone else is present. ]

[Cain is out and about today, despite still needing rest from the day before. He used his powers so, so much that feels hung over today. He's scuffed up and his eye is bandaged, so he's not in the best condition anyone has seen him in. You may also notice a thin silver band over his mess of scars on his neck.]

I need help. [ The boy is still trying to catch his breath, but he sounds more angry than panicked. (He is a good actor, sometimes.) ] This guy got beat up... he looks pretty bad. I don't wanna move him. I'm not a doctor.

He probably shouldn't just leave him unattended, but he doesn't know first aid of this caliber, he has no supplies, and he knows better than to move someone who's had their head nearly smashed in.

So Touma will just stand outside the bathhouse, hands on his knees, and flag down anyone who passes by whether or not they look like they could help, with a "Hey! Over here!" ]

[Thirianna speaks up over the network again, her voice carrying some strange reverb effect as she uses her talents as a farseer to scry upon Marina Nova.]

Fate is tangled and clouded to my sight in this place as well - divination is a trying experience. It does not help that there seem to exist various places in this dome that are... resistant to my talents.

However, though I cannot see into the future as of now, I can feel other presences in this facility with us. Something lives, and moves, in sector 6.

Good day, Marina-- or, I suppose, Marina Nova. I hope everyone is adjusting as well as can be expected. We've suffered some tremendous losses [herself very much included,] but I am certain we will be able to manage things as well as possible.

With regards to the Defense Force -- with Suzaku Kururugi among those lost, and the Wardens confirming for me that weapons and life sign monitoring are no longer available -- I would like to make a proposal. [and she's going to make it openly, so anyone can weigh in... trolls she can handle, and it's worth the risk to give everyone a chance to speak.]

Although I believed strongly in Suzaku and what he did with the Force, there was something troubling me. In some cases, members' primary motivation for joining was to obtain a weapon. And while I know for a fact that Suzaku would not admit anyone who was not suitable, it nonetheless seems as though such a team should have members whose primary reason for joining is belief in its purpose. And further, I believe that the invasion of privacy that the former Defense Force utilized for monitoring life signs made inmates uneasy. I know I had my own questions about such methodology, but it was not my team and thus not my place to debate what was in place.

However, now that many things have begun anew, I am wondering if there are those among us who believe strongly enough in protecting others that they would agree to do so without the promise of a weapon, or any such personal gain. A new leader would need to be elected, and I would be happy to oversee the process if the potential members would like. Any and all proposals will be considered.

With regards to weaponry and special abilities for those who would use them in defense of themselves or others, that is a battle that I will continue to fight with the Wardens, regardless of whether there is a formal Defense Force. I believe in our members, and all of you will have my full support regardless of the status of the organization as a whole.

[ While outwardly calm, Sasha is pretty much pumped on adrenaline as she goes through the new Dome. She figured she would concentrate looking through Sector 0, but upon realizing the daunting amount of personal rebuilding she has to do, she figures she might just look for some kind of anchor -- some kind of home.

Thus she wanders through the Sector 2 apartments, just so she can leave her belongings somewhere safe and that she would have free hands. She keeps an eye open to anyone she can bump into: old faces for her own relief, and new ones she might be able to help... ]

Well, free to look around anyway. Maybe you'll pick your pet up from the pet cafe or search the pile for your personal items before someone else gets to them first. You could be inspecting the barrier around sector six. Did you just hear something scratching it from the other side? Maybe you want to find the nearest clothing store and upgrade from prisoner-chic to something a little more you. Maybe you appeared somewhere awkward and could use a hand with that. It could be you're just wandering around, familiarizing yourself with the new space.
