[Tieria groaned softly. His head hurt. Not horribly like someone might have after the level of drinking he'd put his body through the night before, but he wasn't exactly normal either. It had taken that much drinking to put him into the state to begin with, and now his unique physiology had metabolized the alcohol in his system faster than normal. As luck would have it, he'd slept through the worst part of the hangover.
What wasn't lucky, though, was that he wasn't completely through it, yet, and his body was sluggish and stiff. His arm was sore. He blinked his eyes, trying to clear his vision from sleep and slowly rolled, realizing too late that where he was sleeping didn't feel like his bed.
He hit the floor with a thud, pain shooting through his injured arm momentarily as he landed on it.]
Ow...
[That hadn't been the best move, but, as the previous night's events slowly start to come back to him, he realized that he probably woke Lyle up with that. Carefully, he shifted, trying not to use his arm too much, until he was up in a sitting position on the floor in front of the couch.]
Ow.
[He sighed, holding his arm against his chest. Suddenly, he didn't want to move too much. He felt horrible, and not just because he was stiff, sore, and hungover. As his head cleared, his emotions were coming back out from under the numbing effects of the alcohol.
Now he was beginning to understand a little why Sumeragi used to drink so much.]
