DAY 251 — Morning Greeting

[info]ai_veridical
[info]marinanova
[Veridical's normally sarcastic tone is actually a bit more muted and serious with almost somber notes today.]

Yesterday's events were unintentional and unfortunate. The entity responsible has been contained and removed from MarinaNova. The raptors that were released and survived have been returned to Sector 6. Those that did not survive have been properly disposed. Repair bots are currently working to restore our facilities which sustained minor damage. All technical systems are once again fully functional.

Given the entity's intentional infliction of an escalated emotional state against its prey, you will not be held responsible for your actions yesterday. As such there will be no resulting punishments. You would do well to assume this is a singular exception and not to expect it again in the future.

Your safety and rehabilitation is important to us. Steps will be taken to prevent such future intrusions.

[A pause before completing the thoughts on this subject. It is a phrase often used by the other AI, but it may sound a bit different coming from Veridical.]

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

[Okay, that's all you get. Back to business.]

The post office duties have once again been picked up by one of your fellow inmates. You may now expect to receive packages from Duo Maxwell. The one with long hair.

(OOC: Apologizing for Day 250's fear event. Mail can now be directed here.)

Day 251 - Private Voice

[To Sam Winchester, Jack Harkness, and Ianto Jones]

[When Martha's voice comes through, she sounds very sick. There's a cough or two and everything just sounds weary.]

I hope everyone is okay from yesterday. I'm well enough. Nothing made it through my door.

[To Helen Magnus]

Is everyone all right? Are you OK?

[A slight pause. She doesn't really want to ask.]

If it isn't too much trouble, could you come give a house call? I'm no better than yesterday.]</small>
