Hey there prison pals! I'll just take a quick few seconds of your time, but they will hopefully lead to a way more awesome use of your time! If you're in a mood to par-tay that is, and let's face it, who isn't?

So long story short, Derek and I have found the most adorable new roommates: Korra, Enma, and now Asami! They're all kinda new but they're incredible and we're lucky to be living with them. I'm throwing housewarming fiesta at our place this evening to welcome them right!

Anyone who is friends with any of us, or anyone who wants to just come by and chill, come on down! Bring a friend, even! There'll be video games and card games and nummy eats. Also, I think my main wall needs some redecorating and what could be cooler than a mural that has a little piece of everyone? I'm thinking we all just pick a piece of it and paint whatever strikes us! It'll be like a wall-sized patchwork quilt of awesome. Alas we'll have to make it BYOB because we're not allowed to stock that much liquid courage outside the restaurants. But I make a mean mocktail too if you wanna get classy and drink something hot pink out of a martini glass.

((OOC: MINGLE STYLE! I'll put up threads to answer on video then one for Garcia at the party, but feel free to make your own and threadjack to your heart's content! Attendees will find games like DDR and Wii-Sports types as well as Mario Kart type things (obviously not those specific things because 4th wall), a huge blank wall with multiple funky paint colors and paintbrushes and smocks handy for the decorating, a bunch of party-type foods like burgers and hot dogs and finger sandwiches and chips/dip, and also mocktails with little umbrellas. She even hung a piñata somewhere out of the way!

I personally am still in the hospital so I may be slow in replying but do not let that deter you from tagging around!))

Inside the room the long tables used as group desks have been pushed to the sides of the room, some of them with bowls of chips, cookies, and fruit salad in them with cups and drinks on the next table. The chairs are set up in a very loose circle with large cushions in between and some in the center. Miranda had taken the time to drag them and a large space rug into the room so that if people wanted to sit on the floor they could.

Miranda will be going around greeting people and trying to make everyone feel as welcome as possible. On another of the tables there was sheets of paper with notes written on them. Feel free to take one before taking a seat.

I'm sure you all heard my friend Quinn [ Friend, it's a weighted word at the moment, she can only hope Elena delivers the vervain to her soon.] talk about the idea of a Sadie Hawkins dance. You know, girls ask the boys, that sort of thing. Very fun and modern, and honestly, it gets tiresome waiting for men to get their nerves up, doesn't it?

It's scheduled for day 211, and we plan on having it on the beach. The theme? Why a luau of course. I figure it can start in the early evening, around sundown perhaps?

We do hope you all can come and as it's only a day away you had better get asking before all the eligible men in prison are invited. You wouldn't want to go alone now would you?
