[ The late afternoon finds Data taking advantage of some free time. In spite of the showers, he's out in the facility and carrying a new item back to the apartments he shares with the Captain and Seven. The item is a hard case (waterproof, of course) and quite distinctive in shape; It would not take more than a moment's glance for anyone who would be familiar with such an instrument to recognize it as containing a violin.
He's heading back in a particularly light patch of weather, so he's not moving with particular urgency as he makes his way through the dome with the instrument in tow - particularly not rushed by android standards - and the way he carries himself is approachable.
When he does get back, he proceeds to his room to test out the instrument. Though, naturally, he does not intend to disturb, it's certainly possible that the sound may carry. ]
