[Between the events of the morning, which were cuddling Roxy and telling her not to go drink and the events of yesterday- Jane was beginning to get emotionally exhausted. She didn't want to bother Roxy with such things especially since they had aired their differences over her drinking problem this morning, and she didn't know if Jake would really be able to console her like she needed to be consoled.

She didn't want to cry anymore, she didn't want someone to tell her everything was gonna be alright. She knows that. She knows everything will eventually be alright. So who better to go to than Dirk?

She padded around the house until she spotted him. Alone. Without Jake. Good. She doesn't give him much warning. She just slips herself in front of him, no reserve as her arms go around him and she buries her face into his chest. She probably doesn't even need to explain.]

[ Nor rain, nor sleet, nor a creeptastic invasion of glitch-induced ghosts will keep the Criminology Class from having its first, official lecture.

Reid's been planning for this for weeks but something always seemed to come up — until today. He's spent the morning posting flyers about the class with carefully highlighted information about the where and when and now he's left waiting, anxiously rifling through his notes. Lecturing is nothing new, he's done it regularly for years but this is somehow different. This is with people he knows, about subject matters he's been relatively quiet about.

He straightens up once people start filtering in, soon falling into the comfort of the professional. The lecture may begin. ]
