Time seems to pass so slowly here. Perhaps it's due to the confined nature of the place. I'm used to roaming my larger expanses, after all.

I find I have a good deal of idle time on my hands. Would anyone have suggestions on how I can fix that?

[Sixty hours of work at the pet cafe. Tieria'd been doing shifts of 6 hours each day, and he still had a couple days left. He was getting strongly tempted to stop coming. It was trying his nerves at this point. He had started the day after they'd released him from the hospital after that weird creature thing had attacked him on the glitch day, and now he was being punished for the fact that it beat him up.

Ridiculous...

He was so annoyed.

Hope no one was looking for a pet today, because he was just too grouchy to deal with anyone. Especially after the encounter with the wasp.]

[Clare's post about baking and Jane's post about local cuisine had inspired Piper to cook. It felt good to just be in a kitchen, cooking and baking for fun. No potions, no spells, no vanquishing. Just good old fashioned cooking of a large, full meal. Main course, side dishes, desserts... She decided to go traditional. She was making a roast turkey with cranberry sauce from scratch, stuffing, and sweet potatoes. Sure, it didn't seem like Thanksgiving or anything, but with the weird non-existant calendar of seasons and holidays, she was just cooking as inspired.

For dessert, she had made three different pies for people to choose from. She also made a whole batch of oatmeal raisin cookies.

In otherwords, she'd spent the entire day so far in her kitchen in the Clocktower apartments.

When she did finally turn the video on, it was pretty clear that most of the baking was near finished, and she was working on the meal stuff. In addition to what was made and cooking, it looked like there other ingredients behind her that weren't incorporated into anything just yet, but she was planning.]

So, all this talk lately about baking and recipes and food got me inspired, and I'm making a big meal if anyone's interested in coming over. I'm in Clocktower in Sector 4. Third floor. Just follow the smell and cooking noises.

{OOC: Threadjacking allowed for action posts! Just ask the players involved first. ^_^}

    MASS MAILERS
  • To everyone: a postcard from Spencer Reid (on behalf of the Investigation Team).

[With the postcards being so prominently displayed, it means that there is even more mail than usual. And a busy mail lady is a happy mail lady!!! At least when that mail lady is a vaguely obsessed carapacian.]

[She and her volunteers can be seen buzzing about the dome, or found in the post office as usual! PM is in varying states of normal or ring-wearing, depending on those.]

[Though she has one very unusual delivery to make, and she stops at the kiosk to present it. With probably no small amount of apologetic looks.]
