[ sookie's running, trapped in area five and trying to make her way towards the supposed safety of the museum. things, however, are never quite as simple as run, hide, duck, and cover in miss stackhouse's world. it's almost inevitable that she gets sidetracked on her way there by a swarm of the very creatures she was looking to avoid. she trips over own two feet when she attempts to about face, her communicator falling off her face. she hastily grabs for it and jumps back to her feet, making a break for it.

it's not long, however, before she's cornered. the momentary pause, however, at least gives her time to put her headset back on, accidentally hitting the audio broadcast button in the process. ]

Okay, look. I don't know what y'all are or if you can even understand me right now, but-- [ something gives her pause as one of the hyena wasps draws closer, and it's not fear. it's... ] Are you-- You think this is funny, don't you?
