Moving sucks. But clearly, we just need to have a party to break this place in and get to know everyone.

Who's in?

day 175: [video/action]

[A video feed flickers on and for a moment, all you can see is the pavement. Not too long after that, though, there's some jostling, like someone's turning it over in their hands, and--a face! A stern and not so happy face.]

I'm starting to think I'm not the "settling" kind of guy. [Waking up almost seventy years later had been a bummer and now he was stuck in some underwater prison. When will the world give Steve Rogers a break?]

Anybody else wanna take a guess at what's inside those doors? [He turns the video to that heavily guarded building in Sector 0. The warden facility.] A lot of restricted areas in this sector.

[But he makes no move to head toward the building. He's actually some distance away, seated on a bench in that awful orange jumpsuit and not attracting any robot attention.]

[Tim doesn't like talking to the network. He really doesn't. Specially now that they have moved and he hasn't gotten the hang of this new network, so he isn't sure if someone tech-savvy could manage to track him down or something like that.

Which is probably why even if he's only working with the voice feed he's talking to the network as "Alvin" and not Robin. But he's kind of freaking out after waking up with a huge headache and a set of memories that weren't there before, so network post it is.
]

Uh... hi. Alvin Draper here.

I was wondering of someone had any information on the Stabilizer? What it does to you, how does it get to you and your memories- things like that. If someone has been in contact with before I'd like to know about their experience.

I won't pry, I promise. I just want as much information about it as possible.

Thanks.

[Private to Steph]

So in case you hadn't guessed... we should probably talk?

[guess who's finally had the gal enough to show her face via video-feed!

maybe it's just the hideous orange jumpsuit that makes her feel like being embarrassed about all of her various disfigurations aren't even worth being embarrassed about any more. she's mutilated it fairly well until she finds her proper ...well, dress—she's torn off the sleeves completely so as to not be caused discomfort by the large nails lodged into her bony shoulders, and she's done something with the pants to turn them into a skirt with high splits up the hip (to allow for similar comfort, as she has nails in her thighs and hips). probably some hand-done seamstress magic.

though she hasn't been here long, she's already clearly a lot more confidant in her own presentation; there isn't so much shame and fear, because here she is, just sitting in front of the feed, staring straight into the camera. plenty of people have taught her that she shouldn't fear herself, since arriving.

but she looks a little sad.]

...Some people didn't make it into this dome from the last one, did they?

[since Painwheel's never shown the network her face, her voice will at least be recognizable to those who have spoken to her—low and strained from injury.]

It's so unlucky...

—Ah—[she lifts her head a little, blinking.]

Um, has anyone had any luck relocating their clothing—?

I really can't deal with this.

[she plucks the frayed hem of the fabric at her shoulders, then ends the public feed with a little "thank you."]
