“Chaos often breeds life, when order breeds habit”
American writer Henry Brooks Adams.

There's a lot wrong with this day. New environment. Routines lost. Research lost. People lost, from the sound of it, and the ones that made it over have been ruthlessly yanked up by the roots and planted in a new artificial bubble. A new place to chart, housing to find, plans to make. Pieces to pick up, and like always when the wind blows hard there's only one thing you can do.

Find shelter with the people you trust.

(ooc: teeny catch-all mini-mingle post for the BAU + Kitty. Threads take place whenever they make sense. Probably during a relatively large part of the day. Time isn't linear anyway!)

[Rebecca’s handling this well. Outwardly, anyway. Inside maybe not so much. But she keeps herself busy and moving, and after piecing together all that she can find of her belongings she’s already on the next task of piecing together what she can make of another home here. “Home”, it still sounds weird. And it’s pretty taxing, the physically moving aspect. But lucky for her she’s got herself a workhorse to help out. And possibly bark orders at, but she’s carrying her fair share as well.

It took them this long to pick a place, and it’s still not what she wanted—apartments? Not fond of them. But it doesn’t look like they have much of a choice. And she’s still in prison orange, so the sooner she can crawl out of this hideous jumpsuit and into her (more awesome) jumpsuit, she’ll be… happier? Probably not. Lots to do, lots to think about. Lots of computers to set up.]

I have to admit, MarinaNova is definitely an upgrade. I know I said Marina was a resort before, but now we literally have a spa and hot springs. It would've been nice to have gotten a warning before the jump, though.

Anyway, how's everyone holding up? If it's any consolation, I haven't noticed anything too dangerous so far. And the food is edible.

[Hikaru is one of the few(?) really excited, chipper people, totally enthused about this move! People definitely won't have to hear him complain about being bored for a while!]

Despite all this chaos, it's kind of neat, and I feel like a lucky guy! I haven't lost anyone that I'm aware of, and I've been here so long, it was time for a change! Exploring prison got really boring a long time ago, and now we have a new one! Think of all the new games we have to play, and new things we'll be able to see!

Have you even taken a moment to breathe and look around? From upscale restaurants, to fresh new amenities, to new commoner goods to explore, let's play a game and race to see who can visit all the new places first!

[He applauds!]

Bravo, artificial intelligence of all kinds, wardens, for bringing us these new things! Bravo!

[And now he holds up a finger!]

As for these ugly jumpsuits, never fear! It's no big deal, changes can and will be made soon! I'm sure of it! And if not, I'm sure we'll find ways to make our very own customizations!
