Demon Days
Who: Nastasiya and Grayson
Where: Heme
When: Night
Oh, Demons, Demons, Demons. They annoyed Nastasiya in more ways than one, but especially because she wasn't used to - and didn't like - being afraid. For the longest time she was fairly conscious that above vampires there wasn't a lot more to fear. However, after her previous encounter with a corpse-eating demon, which, hard to admit as it was, had only gone well due to the presence of another vampire, Nastasiya came to realize the game had changed. And now they were back, and they couldn't have come back at the worst of times.
Nastasiya had been out of sorts since the last time she had seen Sebastian - for obvious reasons. This only added insult to injury as far as she was concerned, and it was sad that she was considering having some sort of 'recreational blood' to pretend to get drunk. It was also sad that while she had felt like going to Heme, she didn't really feel like leaving. Not because of the humans there in search for protection, obviously, but because she really, really didn't want to encounter a demon again.
Sitting at the VIP section, thanking all the Gods she knew to name that Sebastian Van Cleve wasn't there at the time, Nastasiya wondered what to do next in other to, at least, pass the time in a less boring manner. Worst of all was the notion that she looked as she felt; her acting chops were failing her blatantly at the moment.
