Sylvia Cohen was born in 1915, which meant that when WWII began, she was 24 years old. Having grown up in the Bronx, New York, Via spent her twenties in Paris, France. This meant that poor old American Jew Sylvia Cohen was in the wrong place at the wrong time. After she escaped she relocated to London, England where a team of people were fighting to bring down Adolf Hitler. This was where Via met Lexington Bostwick. He was possibly the most vile man she’d ever met in her entire existence, but since she was a new vampire, Via was not very confident in herself and she looked up to Lex who had been older and wiser than her in more ways than one. She soon understood that there was nothing that she would ever want to look up to that man for as he was the most arrogant and misogynistic man she’d ever had the misfortune to know.

Ronnie was feeling chipper. She had her bunny slippers, her Hello Kitty jammies on and a bowl of cereal. Bed time sure was fun! She'd had a long bath earlier, reading her new book while she was in there, and now she was laying in bed, her eyes closed and ready for a good night's sleep.

Maybe she should go swimming tomorrow? It had been a few days since she went to the pool... Maybe Bianca would go with her? She frowned. Ronnie really couldn't recall if Bianca was into that sort of thing. Perhaps she should ask her, considering that they were roommates she should know these things.

Anyways, after swimming she really had to make some anti-supernatural signs. What with these gross vampire murders and all, it was time she organized a rally. Okay, maybe she would be the only person there at the rally, but her mother always told her to be the ripple! These things all start with one person.

BIRTHDAYS: None

WEATHER: Overcast and muggy.

EVENTS: While details are still fuzzy, reports have been made that the police were called to the Forsythe and Family Funeral Parlor yesterday due to an altercation between several employees and the protesters. Rumor has it that two Forsythes were taken in for questioning, but ultimately released. There were a couple protesters in the hospital yesterday, and they haven't returned to picket the showing today. So... yay?

Sadly, it's another violent day in the news. The body of an unidentified woman was found not far from St. Francis of Assisi, with head trauma that had apparently been half-drained of blood. The body has been sent to the medical examiner for autopsy, but a rookie police officer on scene was quoted as saying 'I don't see how this could be anything but a vampire feeding.'

But wait, there's more. Just when things were looking bad enough for vampires and weres in the news, open-vampire and Chicago politician Samuel Perrin is in the news again. Perrin made a big stir in the past few days by going on CNN and stating that weres couldn't help themselves when it came to violent acts - greatly damaging the cause for supernatural rights.

And now he's dead. Permanently.

His remains were found in his office in Chicago. His head had been blown off by a close-range gunshot wound (presumably with a silver bullet, but more detailed reports have not yet been released). It appears someone has made the decision to permanently silence him before he can cause any more damage. Probably a good call. Rumors are swirling on whether or not a vampire or a were pulled the trigger.

Many will be tuned to CNN tonight, where head of the party for supernatural rights Bram Moriarty is slated to do an interview and debate with activists from all sides of the cause.

Finally, it's blackberry day at the Berry Days festival. Entertainment for the day includes horse shows and a pie eating contest.
