Mommy knows best

WHO: Blair & Orion
WHERE: Supermarket
WHEN: Late afternoon

Blair didn't watch the news. The fact that there was a crisis at the school was lost on Blair. She'd heard about it from Fiona but Blair hadn't really thought any more about it than that. Men took care of such things. Women kept the rest of the world running while men fixed its problems. She'd simply sort of left the house a little after lunch. Blair had done it somewhat subversively, as if she would get in trouble for it. Fact was, Fiona had not really expected Blair to just hang around the house for her whole visit. Blair thought otherwise. After all, how could she fix her sister's marriage if she didn't watch the whole time? Although with Bruce gone, she didn't have much opportunity to observe and counsel.

Although Mommy doesn't know much. )

Done. Just done.

WHO: Allegra & Willow
WHEN: Morning
WHERE: Allegra's home

Allegra hadn't even bothered with opening the store today. The world was off and she wasn't about to put any energy out into the world and expect anything good back. Nope. She was staying home and advising both her children to do the same. The house was warded and Allegra had spent most of the morning double-checking that all of them were still in place. Her house was possibly one of the safest places in town right about now. It certainly wasn't the high school, which was the source of all this negative energy floating about. Allegra was sure the world didn't like this one bit and was worrying about what the balancing would turn out to be. Because the world would have to balance itself out at some point.

Hopefully, it would be soon. Because the situation with the children was worrying Allegra. And Moll, for that matter. The kettle whistling interrupted Allegra's thoughts for a moment. "Did you want tea, hon?" she asked her daughter as she moved the kettle off the stove. One of Willow's friends had a daughter and a girlfriend (although Allegra was still fuzzy on that end) that was stuck in the high school. All yesterday, people had wanted some sort of magical fix to the issue. Unfortunately, Allegra was certain that much stronger black and blood witches had tried to fix the problem. Allegra was a grey witch and bound by certain rules. Nobody seemed to understand and respect that. People had also been trying to force Willow to read something about their children and loved ones. The hysteria had been understandable but extremely unwelcome. Allegra was not dealing with anymore of that. Not today.
