Who: Tristan and OPEN
Where: Starbucks
When: Mid-afternoon
What: He needs coffee to make it through the rest of his day.
It was the full moon and he was one of the few at the Nest who knew why he was closing in the kitchen. Isaiah had to be home to shift and he was more than happy to help out his friend. Besides, he knew it wasn’t going to be a crazy Friday night. The dinner rush would be early. People seemed to want to be home more during the moons, even if they weren’t weres themselves. Maybe it made them feel safer but he didn’t care. Tristan was going to cook tonight for whoever showed up and ordered something.
The Williamsons’ were family. He had watched Lizzy grow up and he was still unable to believe she was in college now. He knew all their birthdays because Josiah had taken him under his wing and shown him everything and family was the most important thing to the man. It always kept things in perspective for the young man.
Work tonight was still going to require coffee, no matter his reasons for taking the shift. And he figured since Sai was already at the Nest, he would bring him something too. He jogged from his car to the door and pulled it open for the person walking towards him in the opposite direction, holding it with a smile on his face. Who said chivalry was dead?
