Who: Otter and Roxy
Where: Starbucks
When: Late afternoonish
Otter worried about people. It was one of those things he was good at and Delsin liked to tease him about how he actually worried more than their mom. Totally not true (yes it was, in some cases) but lately he'd pointed out that he had really good reason to worry. Demons and hunters and vampires? Hello, that was worry material if it'd ever existed and he didn't really feel like he could be blamed for being that kid who paid attention to what was going on in the world and checked up on everyone because of it. Or spent hours upon hours in his garden since that was the only relaxing place left in the world. Although staying there didn't help with his whole 'make sure everyone's okay' thing and his mom had actually gone and told him to get out of the garden. The age-old argument of him not getting enough fresh air was mute so she just said he needed more interactions with other people.
People, not plants.
So he'd decided. He was going to check on Roxy and since she wasn't living at home and he didn't know where she was he'd just wait at the one place he knew she'd appear at eventually - the Starbucks. He'd gone through three waters and finally succumbed and ordered a smoothie when he caught sight of an ambulance pulling up. Reaching up to ruffle his hair he sat up straight and stared at the door, hoping that Roxy was actually
working today so he wouldn't have to do this all over again tomorrow. His plants needed him. Or really, he needed them.
