Otter wasn't scared of the - oh who was he even trying to fool, he was totally terrified by what was happening. Mostly because even before that mess he'd watched a woman die during the demon attacks and then that mermaid had nearly bit it in front of him after getting all shot up by a hunter or something and now? People were getting drained by vampires. Otter didn't have anything against them, really, but he didn't like the fact that he was now under curfew because the danger was that intense. Like he'd make a better snack just because he happened to be a kid. So not true. If a vampire wanted to eat someone it should go for one of his brother, loads more blood there. Speaking of... Otter's mom hadn't wanted him to go into work but he'd insisted and now he was pushing the door open to find Oz, once again, asleep behind the counter. Guy needed to stop volunteering for the morning shifts if he couldn't even managed to stay awake for them.

"Poke him awake," Sitala offered. As always she'd followed along, the only permanent animal allowed in the shop. Otter liked to say that there were always animals there anyhow thanks to his family being full of were's but he decided that wasn't such a good idea. "Oz," Otter said loudly, letting the door bang shut behind him. "Come on man, I know we've probably been slow but you can't sleep on the job! What if mom walks in, huh?" Reaching the counter he flicked the tip of his brother's ear, frowning a little. He was definitely the most responsible Snow kid and he blamed the being an earth elemental instead of a slinky little water clown covered in fur like everyone else.
