When the Light Starts to burn
Who: Fina, K-lee, Malo (NPC)
When: Morning
Where: Random street
Temperatures weren't ideal for window shopping, but K-lee was a California girl so it wasn't like she was unused to dealing with heat and humidity. Getting dressed in a simple jeans and t-shirt combination she spent more time putting her hair up than anything else. She was used to heat, sure, but that didn't mean she wanted her hair sticking to the back of her neck. That was way too uncomfortable. She even picked out a purse that was big enough for Malo to hop into, the little bobcat insistent on coming along. "Don't talk to anyone," she informed her familiar as she started onto the streets of Scarlet Oak. "Just let them think you're some really exotic housecat and it'll be so much easier."
If he'd had eyebrows, K-lee was sure they'd have been arched at her. Instead there was just a content purring noise for a brief moment as Malo made himself comfortable. I don't get why you need all of this makeup... you put enough on when we left the hotel.
"In case I need to reapply," K-lee replied, rolling her eyes as she glanced into her purse. "Don't you dare mess up anything that's in there or I'll be fitting myself with a new pair of fur gloves." A snort sounded in her mind, but the shifting in her bag stopped, making it easier to focus on the clothes she was peering at through the glass.
