Can I get some first aid?

WHO: Zelie & Weston
WHEN: Mid-afternoon
WHERE: Bernhard Pack Hideout

The nose situation was her fault entirely. She hadn't needed to headbutt the guy. After all, he had just been trying to reclaim his girlfriend's purse. Becoming a werewolf had allowed her to pick her marks more carefully. She avoided anyone who smelled like they could be a fellow were - no matter their specific animal form - as they tended to have faster reflexes to catch her. She didn't steal from the dead-smelling. In fact, she avoided anyone who smelled funny in general. They tended to be witches or other kinds of things that could catch her. Still, there was the occasional mark that didn't strike her as particularly out of the ordinary and still they were something or the other. She wasn't sure what this guy was, but the grip he had on her arm told her that he had been something more than simply human. So, as Devon had always taught her, she used her head. Granted, she didn't think he meant it so literally. Weston had reared her head back and smashed it against the guy's, who had promptly released her in surprise. She got away with the purse and a broken nose.

Win, win. )

it smells like a Bible story in here...

Who: Lazarus and Zelie
When: Afternoon
Where: Hotel di Sei Ali

The Hotel di Sei Ali had been something of a curiosity to Zelie ever since settling in Scarlet Oak. To be honest, she didn't really go in for ritzy joints. In all her thieving years, she'd never been stupid enough to make it a habit of hitting the wealthiest joints in the city. If absolutely nothing else, they tended to have better security. All the same, it being the first hotel in the world to cater to supernaturals appealed to Zelie on a lot of levels. It seemed so very likely that people there would have extremely interesting things in their bags. Maybe not terribly valuable, but Zelie wanted knowledge. She wanted experience. This made the hotel - and any other supernatural hotspot - extremely interesting to one tricksy little werewolf.

I immediately regret this decision. )

I'm gonna make a mistake

Who: Zelie and Open!
When: Midday
Where: Packlands

Zelie would have followed Jason through hell and back and never spoken a word of complaint, but she did not like this move. Oh sure, it seemed a great idea at the time. But now they were in a new country and everything was so different. She felt a bit like she had to learn everything about being a werewolf all over again.

Territories. That was the thing that kept her awake at night. She'd done some asking around about other wolf packs in the areas, not expecting to get such a strong response. There were at least two large and very well known packs in this area. Then she'd heard someone mention 'packlands.' Packlands? What were the packlands? People could tell her where, but she didn't get a lot of answers on the who, what, or why. So today, once she knew Weston had something to do and Jason was out shopping and probably ready to kill whoever he'd taken with him, Zelie had gone out in search of the packlands. She wanted to know every pack in the area. She wanted to know the territories. She wanted to know the rules.

So Zelie headed out to the place some guy at a pub had described, and she didn't have to ask if she was at the right place or not. It was perfect wolf territory, and the scent of other wolves was everywhere. It set her on edge, because they weren't her wolves, but she couldn't deny how lovely it was. It was so woody with so much room to run... Zelie knew she could have so much fun here.

For a while she hovered at the edge of the street, as if standing on the cusp of another world. There were no signs, but she instinctively knew when these mysterious 'packlands' began. Zelie started walking. Her intention? To keep walking until she was stopped, and to get some answers. As a new wolf scent in this place, she didn't think it would take very long at all.
