Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

The last time I was this tan, I had spent three weeks on a private beach in Fiji with Castle on a trip that was originally meant to be our honeymoon.

This whole thing has been amazing, and I'm going to be very sad to leave in a few days, but I also realized this morning that it's December and almost uncomfortably close to Christmas.

I can't begin to imagine how Christmas works on a spaceship. Do you replicate trees or rely on holograms or what?

Problems with being ginger: I'm nothing but freckles topped off with red hair.

I also might have spooked one of the natives. I took my broom out to fly and the poor bloke just happened along as I used the disillusionment charm on myself. I can imagine what it might be like to think a girl just appeared out of nowhere, but he ran off before I could do anything about it. As no one has tried to arrest me or burn me, I'm guessing he's choosing to believe he imagined it.

So I finally made it down here as promised a couple of days ago and I admit I glad I did. Despite that I admit I am growing restless and am looking forward to getting back to my work. There's only so much lounging around that I can do before becoming bored. Is anyone else having this problem? There's plenty to do I just keep thinking about the pile of work I have waiting for me back on the ship.
