Just in case our alien friends are feeling sort of left out of the upcoming Halloween adventures - it wasn't a Thing for me in my part of the world, really. I went out trick or treating for two years, mostly because my friends did, invariably got a cold or treats that I was allergic to, in my late teens got completely blacked out drunk in outfits best not spoken of, then lost interest.
Anyway, don't feel obligated to join in or if you do, feel like you're some sort of idiot if you still don't get it. There'll be other festivities, I'm sure.
If your world has some you enjoy, you might want to tell the folks on morale team or a member of the senior staff - we're out here to explore and learn about new cultures and particularly if we're going to involve
you in our holidays, seems only fair to have a bit of turnaround, eh?
