Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

I need a new docile creature to sit on my desk.

I'd prefer it to be fuzzy, make a cooing sound, and not move much. You know, like a tribble, but not a tribble.

Someone, I don't know who, discarded my sweet, kind, un-reproducing tribble with the rest of the tribbles. And now I'm minus a tribble. I thought I'd be fine, but after a week I've realized I miss the stupid cooing.

Stupid thing actually was helpful, so if someone has an idea for a replacement, I'll take it. And before someone suggests, no, a rabbit is not a good replacement.

I'm finally feeling like a normal person again after that emotional roller coaster.

Explain to me again why we were cuddling?

< I am happy for the opportunity to get a job aboard this ship, at least if I must remain here a while. I would like to find an opportunity to assist the military if I can. I have not yet completed my military training, but I am an Aristh or warrior-cadet. I was undergoing my training when my ship crashed during the mission I was a part of. It would be best if I had a Prince, or military officer, to serve under. I'll understand if it is not possible, however. >

All right, a few housekeeping things. I shouldn't even be taking care of this, but here I am.

I realize that for many of you this is a vacation or something similar, and that's all well and good. But for most of us, we're still working and this ship has still got its mission.

Which means that on the topic of quarters assignments, we're following Starfleet regulation. If you're married or in a committed domestic partnership (whatever it is that your culture calls it; the Federation is, after all, made up of hundreds of planets with varying cultures, races, creeds, religions) that has been legally sanctioned (either here by Starfleet and the Federation or where you came from), then we'll be able to accommodate moving quarters assignments.

But what that means is, we're not just going to start moving people around because you feel like it. Take it from me, living with someone else is hard. Living with someone you're sleeping with? Harder.

I'm sure this means you'll have a lot of questions, so go ahead. I've got the rest of the afternoon off.

Anyway I have a picnic basket with like TWENTY SANDWICHES IN IT and some krumkakes and other delicious things and I have roommates and ONE OF THEM IS ELSAAAAA? HI ELSA! Please come eat this basket with me, this food is going to go bad and that is just a tragic waste of sandwiches.

You know, I've had this dream before, but when I do, I'm usually naked.

Uh, not that I'm complaining about the clothes, but what the frell?

This is definitely not Coruscant.
