Ship's Log | To Boldly Go

Six in the morning is far too early to be departing from your glorious space globe vacation. I think I'm glad I napped all day, all things considered.

I'd be lying if my life hadn't been just simply filled with depressing sights in my time - Kirkwall's called the city of chains after all. But ending up awake enough to watch our little vacation spot disappear in the window is certainly being added to the list.

I'll be frank: I was disappointed to watch us leave the starbase this morning. But I do wonder what's next.

Well being demoted to Commander isn't too bad. I was expecting lower and it's been confirmed that I will be working in the Science Department.

Who will I be working with?

Almost sad to be leaving the station.

Should I take a tribble for our room?

Tomorrow's my birthday, apparently.

Who's buying me a drink at the lounge tomorrow?

Next time we land and you need help with muggle stuff, you can ask me. I grew up one, after all.

For now I'm going to drink a beer in the bathtub. I'm bummed about leaving.
