I'm not one for writing. I was raised a farmer, turned into a fighter, and then a mentor. It wasn't an important part of any of that.

I'm also very dependent on the Force to understand people anymore. The written word takes that away.

Or maybe this mood I'm feeling is just that being stationed at this starbase has made me realize I've been a hermit for a very long time and don't know how to interact with people anymore.

Is there going to be an egg hunt?

If I just stayed on Yorktown, no one would notice, right? We have enough displaced Star Fleet personnel, I could just slide away for a few weeks.

Except they made a monument out of that ship Spock and I crashed. I don't think I'd enjoy passing that every day.

As pretty as this station is... I need some excitement.
