[Locked to J Bly, M Jones, L Henry, D Amis, and e-mail to W Lowell, whose card she found in Aubade]
Oracle Gwen Quinn's roommate is throwing a surprise birthday party for her next Wednesday. Quinn thinks it'll only be Luke and Gwen and I, but we're really going to play paintball. It's a surprise, so don't say anything to her before. Just be at Bathos a little before noon.

Ms. Gaines Quinn,

Oh. I don't actually know if you use the forums. Well, I suppose I can try. This is Will Lowell. The tutor? I know things have been awful and strange, and I was hoping wondering if you were interested in continuing your lessons. With everything that's happened, I'd understand if you didn't want to. If so, we will need to arrange a different meeting location. Should I say something about Ms. Worth?

I can be reached over the forums or via telephone. [Numbers for cell and office.]

Yours Sincerely,

Dr. William Lowell

[After this. Will had been up early, reading the paper and having a cup of tea in his living room.]

Hello. I hate to be intrusive. And I try to be a good neighbor. I just was wondering if everything was quite alright with the other residents of Bathos' fifth floor? I'm not sure who else lives here, I was just [...] wondering. Because that was very loud. To the point where I'm certain I can't have been the only one to hear it. Right? I know I hear a lot of things now, but -- No, I can't write that...

[Phone message to W. Lowell's UofW phone.]
Hello Mr. Lowell, this is Preston Rawlings, we spoke briefly on [...] regarding suits several weeks ago. I'm not sure if you remember. [The message begins business-like but veers into uncertain.] I'd like to speak to you about a [...] similar matter. Please give me a call. [His work cell number. Disconnect.]

[Email to T. Brandon: A generic sympathies missive and a relatively generous donation to his Charities in P. Worth's name. No reply is expected or given.]

[Email to all Sparke Industries employees. After the appropriate header, from asparke@sparkeindustries.com--a mask email that Preston uses to send business email in the CEO's stead. Some may know this, some may not.]

We understand this is a difficult time for our Seattle-based community. If you are unable to work at this time, please let us know of your need for leave (which will be granted regardless of accumulated time given the state of emergency) or your notice of termination. Hoping that all of you are safe.

[Friday evening]

Update:

National Guard has begun genetic testing on all bite victims brought in. They have also been given results that show genetic similarities between cannibalistic subjects (Reavers?) and some of the bite victims that have been quarantined. Those victims are considered "infected" and have been quarantined further.

There has been discussion among the Guard of methods of containing and eradicating the "infection".

If there's anyone out there that's been bitten, avoid the N.G. at all costs. Things are escalating here.

[locked to P. Worth]

[Thursday morning, appx 1 a.m., painstakingly posted from his phone]

Ms. Worth,

As you are the only other Creation here that I know (save Quinn, and I do not know her last name, but please pass this on to her as well if you are in contact), I request for you to be careful. I am not entirely aware of the situation outside, as no one here is sharing any information. But I have been told via someone on the forums that there are people ripping others apart. Avoid them, for they are either Creations themselves, going after Creations, or both. I have not quite been able to ascertain which, yet.

[...] Also please avoid any members of the National Guard you may see.

Should things continue to go entirely pear-shaped, please know that I've enjoyed and valued your acquaintanceship through the years. Thank you.

[Public Post]

I'm looking for a shop recommendation, and as I don't know many people (outside of co-workers) in the Seattle area, I figured I would begin here.

I am in need of a suit (nice but not extravagant) for an upcoming business event, and since I haven't had to purchase one since moving here, I'm not quite sure where to start.

The event is science related. Not that that makes a difference what sort of suit a person would wear. But like I said, nice but not extravagant. I know some of my co-workers will just be coming in what they wear to the lab or to teach, but the invitation is printed on a very nice card stock and I've always took that to mean that you should sharpen up a bit (though it's not hand-calligraphed, so a tuxedo is not required - that's how that works, right?). Hence the need for a new suit, because I believe the last one I purchased was several years ago and has since fallen victim to an ill-timed shift, and I'm certain I've heard that fashion changes, even in suits, and oh god, stop talking so I need a new one.

My thanks in advance.

Oh, and since I'm nearly positive I haven't posted here before (though I've lived in the building for a while), my name is Will.
