Thank you for the tea. It did just the trick, and helped me get to sleep as well. I couldn't trouble you for a bit more just in case everything goes to hell I get another headache? Stress has made things headache-making as of late, and I'd hate to bother you every time something happened.

Hypothetical question time. Say you've got some kind of rash thing on your hand, and the cause isn't exactly what you'd call natural. Do you deal with the damn thing on your own, consult your friendly neighborhood doctor, or none of the above?

Personally I'd go for any option that involves beer and pie, but y'know, this isn't my area of expertise.

Headache remedies go! I've already tried and/or taken aspirin, ibuprofen, aleve, something with caffeine in it, lots of water, a cool shower and laying down, a hot water bottle over my forehead, and I'm about ready to just cry my head hurts so bad. And crying? Will just make it hurt worse. So I'm open to any suggestions at this point.

Why does every aspect of culture today have to be on every single electronic medium? Take the news. The news is on the television, it's on the internet, and in the newspaper. Do you really need to be linked to it through Spacebook, Flitter, and whatever the hell else is out there, and on your iPhone so you can't be away from it for more than fifteen seconds? I don't know about you, but I don't need to be connected to everything 24/7. I actually like not having microwaves or radiowaves or whatever-else waves pounding through my brain constantly.

With the weather hopefully taking a turn for the better, I was wondering if anyone knew of any gardening shops in the area? I'm afraid the one I frequent went out of business, and I'd like to get everything in order for my rose garden before I need to start planting.

If anyone is perhaps interested, a great friend sculptor would have been 135 years old today. Constantin Brâncuşi was a well respected Romanian sculptor, and very famous during his lifetime. Google has been kind enough to change their logo in honor of his birthday.

I don't suppose there are any other art enthusiasts around? Or Parisians?

Not that I think you were dismayed by my actions, but I am sorry for just rushing off. 

I notice that many of you have been coming out meeting about your abilities in the interest of networking for the good of us all. I also know that there are safety concerns involved. I know I have them.

To that end I thought that I'm offering my services. I'm a network, so to speak, a public purveyor of information. Some of you might remember me when we were all trying to deal with the Reavers. I use the inane sounding, when I put it this way pseudonym Rescue.

If you want to connect with me and let me know what your ability is--or even not, just that you have skills, or a safe place, or an interest in helping--then you can do it here. My idea was that rather than putting yourself out there, I could buffer the requests for assistance with the actual people in an interest of safety. Before showing up in a dark alley, I could tell you what was there.

It's a risk for many of you, and for me, too, come to think of it, but everything in this community begins with a damned anon post and a lot of hoping for the best.
