e-mail to the engineer

[e-mail to the engineer's encrypted address]

Should've just handled this on my own

This is D. Wallace of EIT, the one you spoke with about your Dream Machine. There's been a slight change of plans, Mr. Engineer. My associate would like to bring along a third party on Sunday. That okay with you?

[public]

I leave town for a few weeks and apparently everything exciting ever happens? I wasn't aware we even still had bank robberies. At least, not the 'walk into the bank and literally take things from the vault' type of robberies.

Eli... I think I'm going to be ill.

I know that place. I think I know that place.

[Seattle Times]

[Images and cellphone footage of the cells beneath the bank are released to the press on Saturday, and they're all over the news by mid-afternoon. There is no indication of how the items were leaked, but the reporter who first wrote about the piece also included his own images of the bad renovation on the cells (to make them look like vaults).

Article titles for that morning range from Nightman Exonerated! to Torture Prison Discovered Beneath Seattle. The bank is entirely roped off by evening, and even the police and FBI are not permitted entrance. NSC is posted around the entire facility, and they are refusing comment, other than to state they are looking to speak to certain people of interest in the case.]

e. pride

[Delivered by courier to Relinquary during business hours, with E. Pride written over it by the courier's hand.]

Inside the thick manila envelope is information on the very best state of the art security. Things like alarm systems, reinforced doors and window frames, new window panes made of bullet proof glass, inside latches for everything. There's an estimate as well, for a two bedroom apartment in Bathos [he had them scope out his own apartment] and piece of paper with a bank routing number that holds enough money to get everything done and a little extra. It's in Isobel's name, and there's no way to trace it back to who it's really coming from.

[After pouring through the society columns to see what Evie's boyfriend's surname is.]

[Locked to S Djaevelen]
Thank you for seeing me safely home.

[After getting tickets without rhyme or reason, Hayley tries connecting the dots.]

[ E-Mail to A. Main ]

Are you supposed to brush up on your etiquette too?

[ Text to B. Sablier ]

Do you think Evie could stand to learn some tips about networking, table manners, and ass-kissing professional dinner etiquette?

[ E-Mail to O. Monarch ]

[After actively avoiding Orin for the last week, she finally e-mails him.]

Mr. Monarch,

I seem to have obtained a pair of tickets to a seminar about business etiquette. The course seems to encompass a number of skills that you could probably use a refresher course in. Would you like me to sign you up, sir?
