Hey, primo, es bien?

Did you survive the zombie apocalypse? Justin would be sad if you didn't.

Is anyone concerned that those Reaver things might be tracked backed to Creations?

Public.

I think it advisable we all do our best to avoid government attention. Please be aware of who your medical care is provided by and if they are a trustworthy individual. The public is clamoring for someone(s) to blame for this nightmare.

In addition, if you are unable to return home or you are wondering if it is safe to do so, the likely answer is yes, but I can check for you to be certain. There are, I understand, a few Thomas Inc., Charities that have set up all over the city for those without a roof.

Phone Call to G. Dailey

Backdated to Sunday afternoon

Ring Ring.

[When she picks up it's not his cell number on the caller ID and there is the sound of a very crowded jail behind him, people hollering, and Kyle telling people to shut the hell up. Some other cops he works with are chuckling a little]

Phone calls & Emails

[All from Preston's business number. Caller ID enabled.]

[Phone message to W. Lowell's UofW phone.]
Hello Mr. Lowell, this is Preston Rawlings, we spoke briefly on [...] regarding suits several weeks ago. I'm not sure if you remember. [The message begins business-like but veers into uncertain.] I'd like to speak to you about a [...] similar matter. Please give me a call. [His work cell number. Disconnect.]

[Phone call to E. Pride]

[Phone call to B. Thorne]

[Email to T. Brandon: A generic sympathies missive and a relatively generous donation to his Charities in P. Worth's name. No reply is expected or given.]

[Email to all Sparke Industries employees. After the appropriate header, from asparke@sparkeindustries.com--a mask email that Preston uses to send business email in the CEO's stead. Some may know this, some may not.]

We understand this is a difficult time for our Seattle-based community. If you are unable to work at this time, please let us know of your need for leave (which will be granted regardless of accumulated time given the state of emergency) or your notice of termination. Hoping that all of you are safe.

[Multiple Texts/Messages/Notes]

[Note taped to Daryl's door at 9am Monday morning.  The apology is crossed out pretty well, but if she holds it to the light, she'll see it.  If she uses her powers, she'll see that Tim is just worried about her.]

Saw the news.  I'm sorry.  If you need anything, let me know.

[Slipped under the door of Poppy's room at 9am.]

A packet containing registration for the Spring Semester at University of Washington.  All paperwork indicates that everything is paid for, and classes start in one week.  A car key to a blue Hyundai Sonata is also included, as well as an American Express Gold Card in her name, tied to Tim's bank account.  There is a post-it note on top of the packet reading:

As per our agreement for moving in.  The car is yours as long as you're going to classes and getting good grades.  The credit card is for school supplies, clothing, and accessories you may need.  Parking is already paid for the semester.  We'll talk later if you have any questions.
-Tim

[Placed on the bedside table next to where Harry's been sleeping, 9am]

A key chain with a mini helicopter and a key to Tim's apartment with a note:

Seeing as Hamartia is in shambles, I figured we could make this permanent?

Reina,

I have been offered a very large, very important case - apparently someone from Musings who knew my reputation has learned of my presence here. This case requires travel, and I will likely be gone for a while. I have taken care of things here, and the rent for the apartment has been paid for the next year. You can reach me at the usual email address, if there is anything you need. I will be in touch.

Justin

[Private to D. Hockney]

I regret that we were unable to organize our competition. I will be out of town for a case, but perhaps when I return there will be no zombie apocalypse to get in our way. [...] I can be reached at [email address] if you would ever like to converse.

[Left in Ike's office, in a very prominent place on his desk]
Hey Skelly,

I know I've been hanging around in Seattle way too long when the apocalypse comes. Our baby is all grown up, and you don't need me around anymore, so it's time to go spread chaos, panic, and disorder somewhere else. I'll miss you and shit, and you know I'll be swinging back by Seattle someday to see how you and the station are getting along. Hey, so since I won't be around for your birthday I went ahead and left your present now. It's supposed to make sure you don't forget me, not that you could, right?

Hugs, kisses, and licks,
Erika

Hung on the back of his chair is a particularly tacky navy blue sweater with a howling wolf knitted on the front. It smells faintly of her perfume, but the scent will fade entirely within a few days.
