WEATHER: Shortly before sunrise the clouds finally open up and unleash one hell of a storm on Scarlet Oak. There is an extreme storm advisory in effect until 2 AM, as well as a flash flooding advisory all day and night on the east side.
EVENTS: No news on missing mom Jadyn Cole, though police are still investigating. Unfortunately, the weather certainly isn’t helping anything. By ten AM there’s a good chunk of Scarlet Oak’s business district without power, as well as SOHS. Shortly there-after it’s announced that the homecoming dance has been postponed until tomorrow, as the power isn’t expected to be returned until sometime late in the night.
