Who: Vinny, and open to everyone else!
When: Afternoon, after school lets out.
Where: Scarlet Oak Community Park.

Walks in the park should be a nice, pleasant, relaxing way to unwind. They should be, you know, a walk in the park. Especially for Vinny, who'd been the best hiker and woodsman in his Boy Scout troop as a kid, immune to poison ivy, holder of every orienteering badge in existence, incapable of getting lost. He hadn't even known what an earth elemental was, but he'd known he loved nature trails and pretty grassy areas and any place with anything green.

He should still be able to enjoy that, but it's just that there's this one flower bed that just doesn't get taken care of the way it should, and it feels like it's crying out for help every time he walks past it, and...he just can't leave it be. Those poor pansies.

He gives in and kneels down beside the mulch, heedless of whether he gets his work clothes dirty. Mud always washes out. Quincy, pleased with him, sticks his wide pink nose out of Vinny's pocket and noses approvingly at his hand, before taking the opportunity to slip out and burrow into the dirt for a snack.

Reaching out towards one mangy-looking flower in particular, Vinny brushes its leaves tenderly with his fingers, trying to perk it up. "C'mon. There you go."

WHO: Gabriel & Livia
WHERE: Heme
WHEN: Late evening

Perhaps a bar was not the typical first stop for a person just arriving into town. Or perhaps it was. One supposes it all depends on your priorities in life. For Gabriel, he'd had a little nip of some live blood a day or two ago (how is anyone supposed to keep time when traveling, really?) and needed a little more to keep himself going. He'd taken the train from New Orleans as far as it would take him and then there was a bus. He was in the city his searching had led him to, and while he wasn't excited for his grandson to see him, he wasn't unhappy about it either. Gabriel was in no hurry to get staked or beheaded (whatever hunters did nowadays) so he was planning to keep his distance. For a while, at least. Time being, Gabriel had no plans as far as where he was going to live or what he was going to do, but a bar with drunk humans sounded like a lovely meal. He'd heard of Heme and it seemed like the perfect place to taste test for an air elemental or a psychic, at the very least.

Bottles up; let's go round two. )
