Out in the mist

Who: Bubbles and **OPEN**
Where: The park
When: Afternoon

As had been decided multiple times throughout the entirety of Bubbles' life: it was a very bad thing when she got bored. For her and especially for anyone unfortunate enough to catch her attention. Thanks to the storm the previous day she'd been cooped up inside and grown thoroughly bored of everything. Including her aunt and uncle. Especially her uncle. She sort of wanted to drive his face through a glass window and see if it killed him or just left him terribly maimed. Now if his neck got caught on a piece of glass and it tore an artery then he'd bleed out and that'd just be fascinating... She was going to write that down and use it when she got tired of this game. Face through a window. Brilliant.

Clothed in bright yellow boots, shorts, her white rainjacket with the multi-colored hearts and a hat that matched, Bubbles was playing in the sandbox. Why? Because despite the misting rain she was bored and had spent the entire morning irritating her aunt until she agreed to go with her. It was either that or risk loss of whatever sanity she had left and that couldn't be all that much. Said aunt was huddled underneath of a large umbrella with her favorite book. It was some self-help nonsense. She'd been way messed up by the death of her sister and Bubbles supposed most people wouldn't blame her. It'd been such a bloody, terrible spectacle. "What do you say, Mr. Hop?" The ratty old rabbit had to be the fifth or sixth Mr. Hop but she didn't care about recycling her names. They only even existed to give her something to talk to at times like this; imaginary friends with forms. Mr. Hop, Mrs. Paw and Tweedledum (an Alice in Wonderland phase) made better company than any kids. Most adults too. "Think the book will help her?"

She moved the rabbit so his head shook. "Not unless it teaches her holy magic."
