Who: Charlene and Corentin
Where: In the river
When: 10:00 pmish
Having spent most of the day ashore inside of that shed had been more than enough for Charlene. Sure she was supposed to keep her healing wounds dry, but the one nurse had said the bandages they gave her were waterproof for a length of time. How long that time was Charlene had no idea, but she did not really care either. She could always dry off again later when she returned. Was not like anyone was going to yell at her - Imogene was too laid back and off in her own world. Made sharing a space with the were not too bad for a time, even if it
was odd. Nixie would have had another argument with her if she found out. Which, of course, brought attention back to the fact that Nixie had still not poked her head out of the river to say hello. Charlene was really starting to get uncomfortable about that and wounds be damned, she was going to go up and down the river looking for her or any signs of her.
Besides, it was nice to stretch some of her muscles out again by swimming. Her left arm stayed tucked up against her side and she did her best to not go too fast, not wanting to reopen the stitches on her side, but there was nothing wrong with her tail and it felt almost divine to be submerged and swimming. So much so that Charlene swam for a good ten minutes before remembering that she had, mainly, come into the water to look for Nixie. Reigning in her thoughts, the mermaid slowed down and started to scan the area for anywhere a mermaid might be.
Oh, maybe that boat that I told her about... Deciding that that could be a very likely place that she might have just overlooked before, Charlene started for that spot of the river, singing quietly to herself as she went and not paying quite as much attention as she probably should. Tracking was not her specialty by any stretch of the imagination.
