It was rather handy that Roxy worked at the hospital for once her shift was over she was able to pick up Charlene. The pink-haired girl was all sorts giddy about her girlfriend finally being released to the point that she didn't even change out of her paramedic outfit. If Charlene really liked her that much, then she wouldn't care what she was wearing, right? Well, the mermaid seemed to prefer her naked, but yeah, that was besides the point. Roxy was all sorts smiling and giddy as she shuffled down the hallway, tote bag slung over her shoulder with a pair of shades on her forehead, pink hair down for the time being. Once she reached Charlene in the waiting room, she snuck up behind her and embraced her from behind.
"Hey you!" Roxy giggled, trying to resist the urge to kiss or snuggle her. There were others in the waiting room as well, not to mention coworkers who could gossip about what Roxy was. Actually, Roxy preferred them gossiping about her being a were than a lesbian. Pulling away from Charlene, she tilted her head to the side. "You ready to get the hell out of here? We should stop for drinks or something on the way! Oh, and do you need help carrying anything?" She knew she had bought her a bunch of stuffed animals and balloons and flowers without realizing it might have been too much for the poor mermaid, especially after recovering. Not a problem in Roxy's eyes; she would help out in a heartbeat.
