Hi. I know I'm supposed to see you tomorrow, but I haven't had a chance to tell Gwen, and since she bailed me out, I don't want to just disappear. [...] And there's this costume party I really want to go to. [...] Can we meet after the party ends? [...] Right after, I promise.

[Left on the kitchen table for G Dailey, after spending the day cleaning the apartment until it shines, collecting her things from Hayley and her last paycheck from Edison: 100 dollars, and a note.]

maybe this isn't wise but i don't really have any other choice I was wondering if anyone knew the whereabouts of a girl named Wren? I believe she goes by R Maheu on the forums. She missed a meeting she had agreed to and she isn't answering any kind of communication.

[The box is handmade out of strips of recycled paper, tied with rough twine dyed red on the ends. Inside there is a plain yellow packet with information pertaining to a recent purchase of a two-story building close to downtown. The papers have already gone through to outfit it with everything it will need to be a suitable group home, able to house forty girls to start. Construction is already underway to add bathrooms and convert the old kitchen into something usable for creating enough food to feed all the residents three meals a day. There is a picture of the front of the building and of the construction going on inside, and a set of blueprints for the final product.

It's temporary name is 'Group Home For Girls', and the attached paperwork specifies that it is to be used as an alternative to jail time for girls arrested for prostitution, and as a temporary home for girls taken from guardians who were prostituting their daughters while foster parents are found. Someone has already been appointed to run the facility's day in, day out practical procedures and to hire the cleaning and cooking staff. All that remains is to appoint an overseeing party.

Under the packet is a piece of paper, reading 'If you want it.']

Restless. Just got home from work. My feet throb, eyes sting and I smell like I bathed in vodka, syrup and cigarettes. And despite the fact I'm exhausted I cannot seem to relax. Someone should bore me to death, that would certainly help. There must be someone here who can tell the perfect boring story.

[Cass barely noticed the blackout, until he happened to look out the window sometime near morning and noticed the city was dark. When the lights come back on, he gets on his computer.] How did you weather the blackout?
