I'm terribly excited for the royal wedding in a few hours. It'll be a peace of history in the making we're watching! In fact if it wasn't for royals we wouldn't have weddings as we know them today. It was Queen Victoria who popularized the traditional white wedding we know today. Before that women would wear dresses of all colors, even black, because it was more practical, and the dress could be worn again later. A white dress though could be worn only once. After she set the trend though it became so popular that most don't even remember that brides haven't been wearing white for as long as they've been having weddings. Its really quite fascinating.

[The sticky note stuck to the inside of Thea's door is bright green and the writing looks like scribbles to most people. But its intended recipient would easily recognize it as Babylonian.]

March 2 is the feast day of Saint Agnes of Bohemia. She was gifted with divine prophecy and the ability to heal the sick. Not to be confused with Saint Agnes of Rome.

Miles! I think I have finally discovered how to use this forum!

Today I went to the shops. We have two new lights, a bowl for fruit, hand-made curtains, a dream pillow and the comfy chair is to be delivered tomorrow!
