[Email to P. Rawlings]
I've received an invitation to the ballet for Friday. A student of mine is dancing, apparently, and he also seems to know our family from Boston. And he ran into you the other day on his way to class? No matter, he's invited us, and I thought you might like the break from your duties as slave to your employer.

It's come to my attention that you are sponsoring a student of mine at the Seattle Ballet, a Poe Moira. It seems that he knew my family from Boston, and being a student of mine, he has invited me and my brother to the ballet on Friday, informing us that you have box seats for the show. Since I felt it rude to simply show up without first contacting you, I thought I would ask if our attendance would be welcome. If it's a problem, please let me know so I may make other arrangements as I would hate to let Mister Moira down.

Poe-
I just thought I'd give you confirmation that my brother and myself will be joining Mr. Thorne at the ballet on Friday to see your performance.
I look forward to it.
