TARDIS Communication Network

To those who're interested.

My name's Sonya Blade, I've been on the TARDIS for nearly two years now. Back home, I'm an officer in my country's military and whenever this is brought up, people always ask me the same questions.

Well, I decided to do something about it.

For those interested, I've been working on starting a class on modern warfare, starting from the mid 1800s to the present time where I'm from. Topics discussed will range from the starting conflicts, the social and economic impacts of war, and of course, the reasons for and why women would go into the war effort.

The class will start in a week  and take place in the library at 10 in the morning. Even if you're not part of the class, you're welcome to throw in your thoughts. Though anyone trying to cause trouble  will be put in the center of the lecture and thoroughly mocked.

Some disclaimers...these lectures will contain sensitive subjects, and talk of things in the 'future' for some. For those that want to attend the class, but would rather not hear of such things, you'll be allowed to leave the room or skip the session all together.

What is this? Where are my people?!

You are either an unknowing fool or veil your reasoning to have brought me to this strange place with my children by my side. There are few across the narrow sea and beyond who have not heard my name.

Okay, this computer kinda rocks. So not anything I've seen before. And that's hard for you to do. Kudos. Now. You're obviously not the government, because even they wouldn't be stupid enough to leave me with a computer. What's the deal, here?

You know, I haven't had a proper cup of cocoa in ages. Not since... let's see, I was in that nice cafe in Salzburg and got interrupted by those acid-spitting bats. Must have been months ago. My word. Is there somewhere here I can find some in these parts?

Are all women in the future bloody mad?

It's quiet around here. Too quiet. There's a lot of us here, some more vocal than others but still, it's eerily quiet. Anyone else itching for this thing to take us some place interesting? Frankly, I'd like to be a bit more prepared, so if anyone can offer any self defence training or something like that, I'd really appreciate it.

Hey Mark. Not sure about you, but my hangover took a good couple of days to shift. Not that you drank as much as me but then again, I'm nowhere near as good as chess as you either. So that makes us even in a weird sort of way.

What are you up to anyway?

What age has fate brought me to? That Her mirror should lay here open to even my command? To my touch. With out water nor pitcher, moon nor star, it's magic seemingly woven into its very being. This comes from an age I do not know, one I do not understand. Still, I am not afraid.

Whoever reads this, be they from the past, or gazing from ages untold, heed my call. I will find my love. And I will return to his side. I have not abandoned hope. For when all was once lost, hope remained, and shall ever still.

I'm slowly learning the customs, but I don't feel like I've embraced them.
