We keep pretending this is normal and nothing changed, but--

We should stop. [She can't send this, though, because even though after they came back from hanging out with Scout like nothing happened, she doesn't want to stop it. It's like he's some sort of illicit drug and though the hangovers feel like death, she's not ready to give him up. She wants him too badly. Wants to feel the magic that she feels when he does come around, even though last night was the first time they talked since Thanksgiving. Part of it is not wanting to admit that he was right, but most of it is that she didn't know her feelings were this deep until he proved that his weren't. They're just friends, like they agreed. She's not sure what she expected him to do last night anyway. Maybe send some secret sign or signal that he wasn't ignoring her for the past week intentionally... since my you's Allison's psycho killer aunt died, and you probably haven't since you were in high school, but can I have a hug? I'm not in trouble or anything. Nothing really bad is happening, I just need one.
And a time machine if you have one. I'll go back home to before Allison showed up and we all fell apart in the first place... be nicer or something. I'll text you guys after your double date and we'll keep in touch, and I'll make time to come to the lacrosse games again. You'll date Rikki or Allison or whoever, Stiles will be with some other girl, and I'll date Isaac or someone. We'll learn from our mistakes and nothing will be complicated.
