Not a bad way to start the week if I do say so myself.

[He's endlessly bored, but somehow talking to strangers on the network about Netflix or something doesn't seem appealing to him. They have different lives than him, and it's harder to blend when you have to chat up people about shit you know nothing about. He goes to an abandoned park and does some pull-ups on some metal gym shit that he found. After a few reps, he gets off and lights a cigarette, shoving his hands into his pockets as he makes his way to a bench overlooking a lake.

He rather likes this city. It's loud enough to fade away, but quiet enough to think, not that he ever had a problem thinking in loud environments, he's just grown accustomed to the silence. He takes a drag of his cigarette. Everyone was so excited for their Thanksgiving presents, but he thinks he got the best one of all: a fresh start.]

I just found a really great health food place in Brooklyn Heights - all kinds of interesting, organic, fresh groceries. They even have Agave syrup smoothies. Chris would go crazy. I miss- Stop. Uh, even if you're not into that sort of stuff they have a heap of amazing smelling essential oils.

Anyway. So, how many of you guys found work in NYC after you woke up here? I think I'm going to spend everything I have on candles go a little stir crazy if I don't have something to keep me busy.

Final exam #1: complete. My kids had their concert this afternoon. My arrangement starts at about 1:14 and ends around 2:20ish. Not too shabby. And I literally wanted to be anywhere but there, which sucks because I worked really hard on this, dangit, and I wanted to enjoy it, but Fingers crossed for an A. I think they did pretty well with my arrangement, so I think I'll do all right...?

Though, gotta say a human-shaped ladyperson would be a much better cuddle partner. Totes accepting apps of the non!Lily and non!canine variety any time, for the record. My cuddling game is on fire, for the record, could totes be a professional.
