SECOND CHANCES NET

For the past two days, since I woke up, I have wanted nothing else but creme brulee. A very specifically made kind. Creme brulee and tira misu. Which has made the local Italian take-out place fairly happy. Enough that they're displaying business cards for the shop on their pick-up counter.

While sleeping for a week might sound great, my stretching routine has tripled and I'm almost positive I've forever kinked my left shoulder.

And, so he can remind me that I put this in writing, Stephen Strange: I do not want flowers for Valentine's Day. For a while, actually. Chocolates from 7-11 will be perfect.

So I know there's still curses floating around BUT, don't forget we'll be meeting for a Palentine's celebration tonight starting at 5:30 until whenever you leave at [fancy bar Viki is too lazy to look up]. $20 gets you unlimited draft beers or house wine and an appetizer bar, anything else is on you!

I also scrounged up some raffle prizes that aren't just "2 tickets for the Exploratorium' so make sure you get a door ticket!

I don't know whether to be insulted that nobody sent me cursed flowers or if I should just take the win. I don't know how long this curses thing is supposed to last, but I'm feeling pretty good about my chances right now. Even if I get them I just have to not smell them, right? Easy.

If you see me walking into things, well, that must be nice for you because I can't see a damn thing anymore. What's worse is that I think my hearing has gotten better.

At least my neighbors have been entertaining the last few days. Losing my sight has made me incredibly nosy. And someone has been keeping their television on for hours. I'm sure it's for their dog who I can hear howling at people walking by, poor thing. Unless that's another neighbor. Stelmaria might eat me if I step on her one more time.
