One of the most stressful things on TV is watching a baker's buttercream or mousse split, and there's no saving it. This is supposed to be downtime, and relaxing, but I'm tense watching a baking show.

At least I don't watch things like this and think I could do it. I'll leave the baking to the professionals.

That's both a warning and a brainstorming idea.

I know there's been a lot going on, I know it's not EXACTLY the time. But we have pizzas, sodas, cake, and general "come together for an hour" on the roof because it's Julie's birthday and I can't let that pass without SOME kind of party. But I didn't want to jam us all into the Murdock/Coulson/Patterson/Mercer apartment.

Quiet, understated, we'll do something way more epic when things aren't weird. So don't feel bad if you can't do this tonight. Aunt Yelena said she's keeping watch and has some other people doing the same, whatever that actually means. And if you want to partake but want delivery? Just say the word. No judgment.

Happy Anniversary to Matt Murdock getting stuck with me. I wouldn't be where I am today without him. And my friends, of course. But he kept me sane for a while there since my friends were LATE. (And Ben and Phil)

....Does anyone else need to let off steam? Realizing some of us have already been doing this, but there are days when I feel the need to hit something hard.

Guess what I'm saying is, who wants to start a fight club? There would be rules. No powers. Matches have to be even, etc.

I'm not here to see anyone get seriously hurt, but there are definitely days I could use something like this and I'm thinking I'm not alone clearly.

First meet-up this Friday. 11pm on the roof until we find a better venue. If you're interested, be there. Rules are listed below.

1. No super-powers. No weapons. This means blasting, firebombs, magic, etc. This is a physical fight. Try to keep it fair.

2. Fighters will be evenly matched. We don't need anyone getting too hurt up there.

3. Matches are over when the ref calls it. End of story. Don't argue. There's a reason it's done when it's done.

4. Anyone injured has to agree that they will immediately agree to be checked up on by one of our volunteers before settling down. We just wanna keep you alive.

5. Broken limbs, lost teeth, or any major injuries will result in an immediate end to the match and a trip to the local hospital. Or, at least, a visit to one of healers until you're all better.

Don't mind the giant rain cloud following me around. It seems to drench only me.

What they fail to include is the fall hazard that comes with said roses.

Fortunately, my co-counsel made it out of the conference room before all this started. Miriam says they're lovely, but I look like I'm trying to reenact the castle sequence from Sleeping Beauty. From the Prince's perspective. She managed to chuck a first aid kit, at least.

I swear if this magic was a person, I'd put it over my knee. Somehow, I'm stuck with a trail of glitter everywhere I go!

Billy and Tommy's birthday is tomorrow. I hired one of those houses that bounce for tomorrow afternoon. I also have a cake large enough for everyone. Plan on the cake around 7 p.m.

It's bullshit that this place won't even let us grieve in peace. It has to mess up our lives in the process.

I don't say it enough, but I love you both.

Losing Tony is a huge blow to my family. You'll understand if we need some time to digest this information. In the meantime, I seem not to be glued to anyone so I will be cooking enough for an army to get through my feelings.

Size doesn't seem to matter in regards to "distance", in case anyone was wondering. I had to test the theory to see if there was any relative changes due to mass/space but nope. Just straight distance.
