Okay. Ignore the timestamp on this post. I'm okay. I've just been dealing or not dealing with insomnia. I'm getting enough-ish sleep. I just sometimes don't get that much, like when my brain is just sorta going whir.

I have maybe a couple of problems. Well, one problem and one thing that has me pacing and overthinking that's not exactly a problem and more a new and interesting thing to consider.

Prom's on Saturday, and I sorta just assumed that the clothes I was wearing when I got here would still work, but the vest is tight when I button it. I've filled in a little bit, but it's been almost a year of, you know, food.

I don't know if anyone's ever watched the sunrise from our roof, but it's pretty cool.

It's Mothers day today. Last year was a hard one. And this year, I saw my mom. I guess she was a ghost. It made me sad, because we didn't get the chance to talk.

But I didn't want it to go by without acknowledging it. I miss her and Tía today. But here I have Yelena and Natasha.

Yelena, I'm so lucky that you're my guardian. Happy Mother's day. I love you.

Hello, darlings. I'm afraid you all might have me at a bit of a disadvantage. You see, I'm from an age quite without little machines, so it might take me a bit to get the hang of this typing nonsense. I can read just fine, so nothing to fuss yourself about with there.

The kind people at the welcome place were patient enough to explain things to me, but I have to admit it was all rather daunting. I don't suppose there's a sweetheart or two around here who might want to take me under their wing for a few days? Show a grateful gal around?

I know there's been a lot going on, I know it's not EXACTLY the time. But we have pizzas, sodas, cake, and general "come together for an hour" on the roof because it's Julie's birthday and I can't let that pass without SOME kind of party. But I didn't want to jam us all into the Murdock/Coulson/Patterson/Mercer apartment.

Quiet, understated, we'll do something way more epic when things aren't weird. So don't feel bad if you can't do this tonight. Aunt Yelena said she's keeping watch and has some other people doing the same, whatever that actually means. And if you want to partake but want delivery? Just say the word. No judgment.
