Did anyone else get handed hot chocolate and a candy cane by an elf today, or am I hallucinating?

Is everyone okay? I spent the past couple of days recovering what I could from the school and keeping students safe. Feels like it's been a week, but it's only been a few hours.

Has everyone checked in? Are we missing anyone else?

I know it's a lot with mom leaving. I know there isn't anything that I can do about it, but I am here for you.

Since the memory nonsense seems to be behind us for the most part, I want to invite everyone to a catered Family and Friendsgiving on the roof on Thursday, starting at 5 PM. Bring your hungry mouths and whatever your heart leads you to bring.*

There'll be games and silly prizes, and probably a TV or two for the sportsball-inclinwd.

Did you know that as of three-ish years ago there were 45 independent bookstores in San Francisco?

What does it say about me that I still can't remember who I am, but I really want to visit every single one of them (if they're still open)?

The importance of American Football is fascinating. I just wrote a piece on one of the running backs for the 49er's and never in all my years of writing profiles have I gotten so much love and hate.

My favorite being: "You did nOT DO HIM justic."

Imagine my surprise at the door entries and winners. I humbly give all credit to Rose, Lissa, and Mason.

The routines are getting a little too boring for my liking so I am offering one on one sessions, though I don't mind a group if there is enough interest:

1. The Russian language. This would be basic conversational sentence structure, common phrases and vocabulary, and nothing too intensive.

2. Hand to hand fighting. We have options as far as locations go but this was more of a one on one, especially against a larger opponent.

3. Driving. Automatic, manual, defensive, and/or offensive. Take your pick.
