Hey, in what you’ve learned about the new timelines, did you ever come across a world with beings called Spectres? They’re kind of like half ghosts, half vampires. Except instead of drinking blood, they suck your will to live.

If you see me walking into things, well, that must be nice for you because I can't see a damn thing anymore. What's worse is that I think my hearing has gotten better.

At least my neighbors have been entertaining the last few days. Losing my sight has made me incredibly nosy. And someone has been keeping their television on for hours. I'm sure it's for their dog who I can hear howling at people walking by, poor thing. Unless that's another neighbor. Stelmaria might eat me if I step on her one more time.

Seems about that time for the strange and unusual to happen. But sometimes odd can be good. Someone seemed to have sent me flowers. They're quite beautiful and lovely to smell. I'll wear one out today, I think. Marisa, dear, you didn't leave a card or even your name. You sent these, didn't you

Spring must be around the corner, however. My eyes have been stinging something awful all day. I think I might have to invest in... what did you all call them? Ah yes. Sunglasses.

If I were to ask one of you, or a number of you, would any of you be interested in being a reference on my resume?

I know most of you don’t know me very well (yet), but it is becoming more and more apparent that I need some kind of job and unfortunately, though I think my skills likely transfer to a lot of jobs, I have no proof of employment and honestly even if I did, I’m not sure anyone here outside of this apartment complex would believe me.

So, any takers?

So, I admit it’s been a long time since I celebrated Christmas. I mean, I assume I celebrated Christmas before, since I had kids, but it’s nothing I remember. What I didn’t think was that a) Santa was a real guy and b) that he would bother to get me anything after the likely millennia I’ve been away. Not that I don’t appreciate my old copy of jet ski magazine and a pack of Kablooie, but, I’m not sure how I feel about having these again. But, is it wrong to complain? I wouldn’t have minded an updated copy of the magazine. Or, I don’t know, maybe an actual jet ski?

That’s probably asking too much, right?

This snow globe does what again? I wanna talk to the manager.

So what's the deal with these snowglobes? Do they actually take you anywhere you want?

Has anyone seen Loki? We were supposed to meet for breakfast, but he didn't show. He is not answering any of my calls either. It is not like him to ghost me.

Okay, so I’m here, and it’s been explained that I have an apartment and some money, but for the life of me and all I have seen, that really does not explain much of anything. One second I’m standing watching what should have been my life pass before my eyes, enjoying the sensation of time passing for once and the next I’m in… San Francisco? Not that I have a problem with the Bay Area, unless this is a year for one of the earth quakes. At very least I am going to see about a jet ski at some point, but of all the many years I spent travelling the timeline, and all I know about the multiverse, this one I have never come across.

So, what is it about this one? What’s so special this time that I’ve been dragged here? I swear if this is some messed up way for B-15 or Casey to try and get me back or some other nonsense, I would like to know now so I can get this straightened out.

I did not work for literal eons for my retirement to be usurped by one of the timelines I was attempting to protect. Give a guy some choice, would you?
