We made paper snowflakes in school today and I really liked that project. Does anybody want a paper snowflake? I can make more! This was one of my best ones.

[And suddenly she's somewhere else. She wants to scream but she doesn't know what that'll attract to her. She checks around the empty apartment, gun held high in her hands. Nothing. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. Be brave.]

One, two, three...

[She sits down on her bed and she's chewing the corner of her lip nervously, looking out the window. She's obviously anxious, and it shows in her voice.]

Um... I don't know what's going on, [she clears her throat to try and even out her tone before turning her attention to the tablet] I got a strange message? And everybody here seems okay and I don't know if you're all really okay or if you've all been kidnapped. Or - if - if you've been kidnapped and you're all okay with being kidnapped but I don't belong here so it would be really nice if I could go home? Maybe? Please? I have work today and my boss is going to kill me.

My name is Patty Spivot, I'm an officer for the CCPD. I think I've been taken against my will. That's right buddy, [she's trying to sound menacing. She's really bad at it.] I'm a cop. You're in big trouble.

[The video starts out almost pitch black; the outline of a little girl in the center of it. Bo's covered the windows in her room and has been shut in there all morning, pretending to be asleep when actually, she's practicing. Suddenly, the room around her lights up with what looks like thousands of tiny fireflies floating in the air and she grins.]

So...I can do this now.

[She giggles and makes a silly face into the camera before the glittery lights all fade back out to leave darkness and then the video ends.]


[ooc: the lights look like this...I couldn't find a gif and trust me, I looked for over an hour, so this will have to do.]

I can't get back home.

It's 2015.

In the middle of summer.

There are doubles. Younger ones. Face doubles. Everything that can go wrong probably will.

And this apartment is free.

My d Sirius is gonna take my tablet away cuz I won't stop watching this and he hates this song but look how cool!

Something's happening today, I think...I don't like how it feels.

[ooc note to Sirius & Marley, she probably has been completely unable to sit still for more than a couple of minutes at a time for the past few days, but today it's especially bad. She's really anxious and she has no idea why.]

Okay so my money followed me here which is pretty great, no complaints or anything, but my degree apparently hasn't? Or my work history because apparently Central City isn't a thing?

Listen, I'm a forensic scientist, I've been doing it for a couple of years now, so if anybody out there would be inclined to make me a document that may or may not resemble the exact replica of a degree in my field with my name on it I might be willing to chat. I'm not asking for anything that I haven't already worked and paid for, believe me.
