I am happy to report that I am now gainfully employed. I talked to the theater department at Mission High School last week and I started work on Monday as the newest drama and dance teacher. Looks like I'm also helping with the spring musical by default so those of you who are students there, I might volunteer you for something. Be ye warned.

I know I'm just a kid but there's a lot these government people aren't telling us. My mom would say But I guess I've got a safe place to sleep until they supposedly send us home? So that's good, at least.

My name is Lila. I'm fourteen so they said I need an adult and they said my dad's not here but they still put me in a room with a guy named Clint Barton so hello, I'm confused now.

It’s been really fascinating to me to learn about all the different holidays this world has. Many of them are very different from anything I’ve experienced in my own galaxy. The tradition of celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of another isn’t completely unheard of for us, but I have never had to make a new year “resolution” before. I think it’s something I’ll have to give some thought to!

Kind of crazy to think I’ll officially be a high school graduate in a few days. Even crazier that Lissa isn’t here graduating with me

Too bad all the craziness around here isn’t enough to get me out of finals.

There won’t be an actual ceremony until the spring, but I was thinking of having a party or something this weekend to celebrate my freedom.

Pretty sure I've been doing more paperwork in the last two weeks than I ever had during post-mission reports.
